About a month ago, I decided to record one of my live workshops to use as a recorded product that could be offered to folks all over the world. This was to help those who learn best from listening rather than reading, or needed a more focused approach to the material.
While we got a technically good recording, I quickly realized that it would not make a good audio product. Partly because the group I had at that workshop didn't need certain elements explained in depth, and we skipped over those parts to make the experience more powerful for them. Another reason was that once I edited out their questions and comments (to preserve their privacy), what was left didn't make as much sense.
So I decided to do a presentation specifically for the recording. Initially, I expected to just go over the material again and the whole project would be done in 2 days or so.
Although this may work for some folks, I wasn't happy with my presentation. Maybe it was because I didn't have an audience to work with. Maybe it was because I was more concerned with how much time each session took. Whatever it was, I knew it needed more work.
So, over the past few weeks, I've been rehearsing my presentation of the material, and recording each session as I got it more polished. There is still some editing to do, and I feel that my presentation could still be improved, but I also realize that it doesn't have to be perfect.
Which is why I can say that we're nearly done with the production, and ready to start taking pre-orders for the new audio product.

Right now, the only version available is the MP3 CD version, with the whole set of recordings on one CD-ROM. As soon as we're completely done with the final production, there will be a digital download option, although I will be honest and say I'm not sure if this will be a permanent option. And sometime later, we'll have a version with regular audio CDs that will play in any CD player. This version will have 6 CDs plus a bonus CD. The extra packaging is one reason for the delay in availability.
Prices for most 6-hour audio programs generally fall into the $100 range, and I've decided to go along with that. The new "Choose To Believe Audio Workshop" will be a $97 product, although during this pre-release special, you can get it for only $49.
